Introduction to High-Speed Circular Saws

I. Overview of High-Speed Circular Saws

ThisHigh-Speed Circular SawMainly consists of the bed, worktable, feeding track, circular saw blade, and workpiece clamping device. When processing boards and square materials with a multi-blade circular saw, the position of the saw blade and the height of the clamping device are adjusted according to the thickness of the boards and square materials, and the number of saw blades installed is determined based on the power of the main motor.

The circular saw is located directly below the saw blade. Generally, the track is recessed a certain distance to ensure that the saw blade can completely cut through the entire thickness of the wood during the cutting process, and the saw blade does not contact the track. The feeding and discharging pressure rollers and feeding and discharging devices of the dual-axis multi-blade circular saw allow for stepless feeding of the processed wood; the main motors of the upper and lower saw shafts drive the upper and lower saw shafts to rotate, respectively, which then drives the circular saw blade to rotate, thus achieving the sawing of processed wood.

Installation position: Generally, the upper saw shaft is slightly closer to the feeding end, and the lower saw shaft is slightly closer to the discharging end. The upper and lower saw shafts usually rotate in opposite directions. The cutting direction of the upper saw blade is the same as the feeding direction, while the lower saw blade is opposite to the feeding direction. The purpose is to basically balance the cutting forces of the upper and lower sets of saw blades on the wood, improving cutting quality. The feeding and discharging pressure rollers and feeding and discharging devices of the dual-axis multi-blade circular saw can provide stepless feeding for the processed wood; the main motors of the upper and lower saw shafts drive the upper and lower saw shafts to rotate, respectively, which then drives the circular saw blade to rotate, thus achieving the sawing of processed wood.

II. Installation and Adjustment of High-Speed Circular Saws

The installation and adjustment methods of the saw blades for dual-axis multi-blade circular saws also vary depending on whether there are saw clamps. For dual-axis multi-blade circular saws without saw clamps, the saw blades and the spacer rings should be installed on the shaft sleeve in advance according to processing requirements for quick on-site replacement. When replacing the saw blades, special attention should be paid to avoid sawdust or dirt falling between the saw blade and the retaining ring, as this will affect processing accuracy. The shaft sleeve for installing the saw blade can slide axially on the saw shaft for accurate alignment of the upper and lower saw blades.

Each saw blade is clamped by a saw clamp. After the saw clamp is installed, there are pneumatic compression devices at both ends of the machine body. After inflation, the saw clamp can be pressed against the saw blade. At the same time, by adjusting the position of the clamping devices at both ends, the saw clamp can move left and right along the shaft with the saw blade, ensuring that the saw blades of the upper and lower saw shafts cut the wood in the same plane, minimizing or avoiding the formation of seam marks on the finished product. Due to the effect of the guide saw clamp, the stability of the saw blade is greatly improved, allowing for the use of thinner saw blades. This type of saw is commonly referred to as a guided circular saw.
