How to choose the matrix for a high-speed circular saw?
1. 65Mn spring steel has good elasticity, good plasticity, economical material, good heat treatment, low heating temperature, and is easy to deform, making it suitable for saw blades with low cutting requirements.
2. Although carbon tool steel has high thermal conductivity due to its high carbon content, its hardness and wear resistance drop sharply at temperatures of 200-250, it has significant thermal deformation, poor hardenability, long tempering time, and is prone to cracking. It is an economical material for manufacturing tools (e.g., T8A, T10A, T12A, etc.).
3. Compared to carbon tool steel, alloy tool steel has good heat resistance, wear resistance, and processing performance, with a heat deformation temperature suitable for making alloy circular saw blades between 300 and 400.
4. High-speed tool steel has good hardenability, hardness, and rigidity, with less heat deformation, making it suitable for producing ultra-thin saw blades.

The angle parameters of the tooth part of the high-speed circular saw blade are complex and specialized. Correctly selecting the angle parameters of the saw blade is key to determining the quality of the saw blade. Important angle parameters include the front angle, back angle, and wedge angle. The front angle mainly affects the power consumed in cutting sawdust. The larger the front angle, the sharper the tooth cut; the lighter the saw blade, the easier the thrust. Generally, if the material being processed has a smoother texture, a larger front angle should be chosen; conversely, a smaller front angle should be selected.
The tooth angle of the high-speed circular saw affects the cutting performance. The front angle, back angle, and wedge angle have a significant impact on the cut. The front angle is the tooth plunger, and the larger the front angle, the more active the cut; the front angle is generally between 10 and 15. The back angle is the angle between the tooth shape and the processed surface, used to prevent friction between the teeth and the processed surface. The larger the back angle, the less friction, resulting in cleaner processed products. The back angle of tungsten carbide saw blades is generally 15. The wedge angle is derived from the front and back angles. However, the wedge angle should not be too small, as it plays a role in maintaining tooth strength, cooling, and durability. The sum of the front angle, back angle, and wedge angle equals 90.

The diameter of the saw blade is related to the cutting equipment used and the thickness of the workpiece being cut. A smaller saw blade diameter results in a relatively lower cutting speed. A larger saw blade diameter requires higher standards for the saw blade and cutting equipment, and also improves cutting efficiency. The outer diameter of the saw blade depends on different circular saw blade models, and a saw blade with a matching diameter should be selected. The standard diameters are: 110MM (4 inches), 150MM (6 inches), 180MM (7 inches), 200MM (8 inches), 230MM (9 inches), 250MM (10 inches), 300MM (12 inches), 350MM (14 inches), 400MM (16 inches), 450MM (18 inches), 500MM (20 inches), etc. The bottom groove saw blades of precision panel saws are often designed to be 120MM.
